TOI-700 e joins the Codex as the Earth-sized habitable-zone sibling of already-listed TOI-700 d, completing this quiet red-dwarf system’s temperate pair. About 0.95 × Earth across and 102 light-years away, it circles an M2.5 dwarf every 27.8 days and receives roughly 1.3 times Earth’s sunlight — squarely in the conservative habitable zone. TESS found it in 2023 after years of watching its outer twin, proving small rocky worlds can stack in temperate orbits around cool stars. With mass still loosely constrained, its story is size, light, and place: a near-Earth twin next door to another. It stands in the Galactic Codex as the second temperate chapter of TOI-700.
