TrES-4 b is a massive gas giant orbiting a Sun-like G-type star 1430 light-years from Earth, with a radius of 20.2 × Earth (about 1.8 Jupiter radii) despite low density. It completes an orbit every 3.6 days at close range, inflating due to stellar heat. As one of the largest known hot Jupiters, it reveals atmospheric expansion mechanisms. It anchors the Galactic Codex as an extreme example of gaseous worlds, highlighting the wonders of planetary bloating under intense radiation.
